About Me

Armaan Alikhan

My name is Armaan Alikhan, and I am from Chicago, IL. I am currently a freshman at Indiana University–Bloomington, where I am studying Data Science.

Outside of academics, I enjoy robotics, soccer, and coding. I am highly self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and committed to producing my best work in everything I do.

My career goals include becoming a full‑time Data Scientist at a leading company such as JP Morgan or Wabtec. In the long term, I aspire to use my skills to support underprivileged families in developing countries by creating accessible datasets that can be used for research and aid initiatives.

Project 1
Project 1: Simple Webpage

I created a basic webpage using HTML. This project taught me how to structure a site with headings, paragraphs, and images, and gave me confidence in writing clean, simple code. The theme of the page was my hometown, highlighting why it is special to me. I included descriptions and photos of popular places, local attractions, and cultural landmarks that make it unique. Through this project, I also learned how to organize content so it is easy to read and visually appealing. Overall, it was a great introduction to web development and helped me understand how HTML can be used to share personal stories and connect with others

Project 2
Project 2: Table Page

I created this webpage to highlight my healthy meal routine and demonstrate how I organize information using HTML tables. Through this project, I learned how to set up and edit tables, merge cells, and apply custom styling with CSS to make the content easier to read. I worked on this project independently and included pictures of different meals to make the page more engaging and visually appealing. This project not only helped me practice technical skills like table formatting and CSS styling, but also allowed me to combine my personal interest in healthy living with web development.
